Elder, Jonathan M. Wynne serves the congregation and community of New St. Paul Tabernacle Church Of God In Christ. He also directs the training of ordination candidates for the Northeast Michigan Jurisdiction. The author of 8 books author serves as a school administrator/consultant and Team Chaplain of the NBA-Detroit Pistons. Jonathan has earned master’s degrees in theology, business, and educational leadership. Recipient of numerous awards including Top 3 finalist for Detroit Public Schools Community District 2025 Educator of the Year and the 2023 Joseph R. Biden President’s Lifetime Achievement Award for Public Service. Married to his college sweetheart for 41 years, they enjoy four adult children and two sets of twin grandchildren. His greatest accomplishment is helping others achieve goals beyond their own expectations.
