Supervisor Dr. Faithe Sheran Brooks was born into a highly respected family with a legacy rooted in ministry and service. She is 4th Generation Church of God in Christ. Beginning with her education, in the private and public-school systems in Michigan, which took her to Schoolcraft College in Livonia, Michigan. There she earned an Associate of Arts degree and furthered her education at Oral Roberts University in Tulsa, Oklahoma, where she graduated Suma Cum Laude with a B.A. in Theology and dual Masters degrees. She is also a graduate of Kenneth E. Hagin’s Rhema Bible Training Center, located in Broken Arrow, Oklahoma, where her focus was in Pastoral Care. She continued certification in leadership as a John Maxwell trainer, speaker and life coach. She received her Doctorate of Divinity from the Christian Bible Seminary in Houston, Texas in June, 2022.

Dr. Faithe has served her local church as Executive Assistant to her father, Director of Christian Education, Director of Women’s Ministries, Praise and Worship leader, Coordinator of Intercessory Prayer and like most PK’s any and all areas that were required. Both the City of Detroit and the House of Representatives have awarded recognition to Dr. Faithe at her 15th Year Anniversary as a National Evangelist and for her 5th Year Anniversary in Radio Ministry where her “Faith to Faith” Broadcast which can yet be heard on WMUZ. Dr. Faithe is the founder and president of Faithe Brooks Ministries, Inc. and has traveled throughout the US and abroad on mission’s trips evangelizing and ministering the Gospel of Jesus Christ.

With more than 40 years in ministry, (receiving her Evangelist License under Mother Mary Jane Hopkins in 1978) she has provided biblically-based inspiration, infused with the gifts of the Holy Spirit. In 2007 she was listed as one of Detroit’s Who’s Who among spiritual leaders. She is noted as a television and radio personality for the March of Faith Television Broadcast and Faith To Faith Television and radio broadcast. Dr. Faithe has authored three books entitled “Encounters of the God Kind,” “Developing Faith that It Takes” and her newly released book “Daughter of a King.” As a psalmist, she has recorded with Thomas Whitfield and the Thomas Whitfield Company, Bishop P.A. Brooks, Live in Praise and her own Worship CD entitled, “I Surrender.” Mother Brooks financially assisted in the renovations of a free health clinic in Cape Town, South Africa, which provides free clinical services to mothers, HIV/AIDS clients, free counseling to women of domestic abuse, and also serves as a recreation center for the local youth. She served under her father as the Assistant Administrator for Grandmont Rosedale Christian Day School and the Grandmont Rosedale Christian School.

Under Supervisor Norma Burrell she served as the chairperson of Protocol, coordinator of 49 and Under/Mizz Millennial, platform committee, and adjutant sister. Mother Faithe served as Assistant District Missionary then elevated to District Missionary for the Headquarters District in which she created a District Guide Book, instituted the Annual Patricia Stewart Unity Dinner, Auxiliary Leaders Appreciation Services and gained the awesome honor of being recognized by the Michigan Chronicle as the 2019 Queen of the year of her district to raise over $9,999.00, making her the 2019 Queen of her District Missionary Unit. In 2009, through the wisdom and foresight of her late father, she was chosen to serve as the Jurisdictional Assistant Supervisor. It was in November, 2011 Mother Faithe was recognized in the Annual Assistant Supervisor’s Luncheon of the Church of God in Christ as the Outstanding Assistant Supervisor of the year & was honored to bring home the globe-trotting trophy.

In 2007, Mother Brooks had the distinct honor of serving as the Assistant Coordinator for the Pre-Centennial Celebration held in Detroit, Michigan under the leadership at that time of the presiding Bishop, Bishop Charles Edward Blake. On the National level of the Church of God in Christ, Mother Faithe served as Prayer Captain working with Mother Francis Kelly and currently is the facilitator for the Deborah’s Warriors Prayer Line, under the direction of the General Supervisor for the Department of Women, Mother Barbara McCoo Lewis. In 2017, Mother Brooks represented her church for UNICEF USA and travelled to the capitol to discuss ways to further contribute to assist the African American community through UNICEF. In 2019 the Michigan Chronicle honored Dr. Faithe with the 2019 Women of Excellence Award for outstanding service in the community.

As Dr. Faithe and her beloved brother Elder Phillip continue to follow in their late father & mother—Bishop Phillip A. Brooks and Madame Doris Brooks—footsteps, Dr. Faithe yet believes that her greatest accomplishment and achievement in life was to give her beloved father a kidney. As her life journey continues to unfold, she believes that all of her works, knowledge and experience have prepared and qualified her for such a time as this.
